Another week another heat wave in Davis County. Reminder that many water districts are charging their systems throughout the weekend for the water season starting on May 15th. Be sure to check your system for leaks to help slow the flow.

Let’s get into what is happening this weekend Davis County.

Bountiful  ·  Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop  ·  Counter Service/Drive Through

Located on the busy 5th South in Bountiful Mrs. Cavanaugh’s offers many delicious sweet treats. The little known secret is just how good the ice cream counter is. They offer very solid core flavors and rotate through featured flavors as well. I would recommend trying the Penoche, an indulgent caramel experience.

There are two approaches to visiting Mrs. Cavanaugh’s the little used drive through for great convenience or enter into the store and have a chance at both an ice cream cone and a sample of their famous chocolates. If you are visiting Mrs. Cavanaugh’s after a major holiday such as Christmas or Easter you can expect to find great deals on getting your chocolate needs satisfied.

First Time Order Recommendation for Two

1x Penoche on a sugar cone and 1x Granny Fudge in a cup | However, it is ice cream! Stick to what you like or looks good and you won’t be disappointed. For chocolate samples they usually offer a choice between milk and dark. Don’t sleep on the dark chocolate as I find the sweetness can be overwhelming if you go milk chocolate with your ice cream cone.
