Layton Hills Mall is hosting a Mom’s Day to Shine with crafts and giveaways. Join them in the Center Court area for a variety of booths and a sound bath experience starting at 2:30 from the Divine Yoga Studio.
New Flash Cairo Dog Park | Leash Cutting and Ribbon Ceremony | Monday May 11th at 6pm
Named after 2 beloved police K-9s the Flash Cairo Dog Park is a joint effort between Woods Cross and North Salt Lake to offer more options for our furry friends. You can join them for the ceremony or enjoy the park after the ribbon cutting is complete. Located near the existing Legacy Park it will make for another great place to hang with your favorite pooch.

Nacho House offers an excellent sit-down Mexican food experience. The chips and salsa arrive at the table as your order is placed. It can be easy to be overwhelmed by the close quarters dining area as sizzling fajitas are sent down the aisles. If you want a less crowded dining experience Nacho House is great for lunch. The restaurant has a great energy on crowded weekend evenings.
The salsa as well as flexible combination platters are the highlights. I have had most of the main components of Nacho House’s menu and would recommend starting with one of their burrito options. For the meat lover you could try the bacon wrapped chimichanga which is as indulgent as it sounds. The nachos also offer a great option for sharing with a partner or friend to get a variety of what Nacho House is offering. Pair it with a cold horchata and you will have a memorable meal.
