🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend

Syracuse Farmer’s Market | May 21st 5pm - 9pm Centennial Park
Syracuse has been holding its weekly Farmer’s Markets on Thursdays since the beginning of May. With the weather warming this is a great opportunity to shop local.

Cottonwood Commons Park Grand Opening | May 23rd 6pm
I have visited Cottonwood Commons a few times to enjoy the new park facilities with the family. Featuring basketball, pickleball, a massive slide big toy as well as timed sprint track and obstacle race Cottonwood Commons offers a ton of options for all ages. You can also take a walk around the park and view the large sculpture installation.

Karie Anne’s Gelatis

Karie Anne’s Italian Ice & Custard

Bountiful | Sweet Treat | Food Truck

I have had Karie Anne’s for many years now starting with their expansion from southern Idaho into Logan. Karie Anne’s is now featuring a new location in Bountiful. They are known for their frozen deserts which can be tried multiple ways. If you are a first timer to Karie Anne’s I recommend trying a small Gelati. You get to choose 2 separate Italian ice flavors as well as one custard flavor for the middle. Eventually, you may fall into the Italian ice only camp or a big serving of the custard.

The secret menu trick of Karie Anne’s is to order a small with a topping. This moves you from a small serving cup to a medium serving cup for only the additional cost of the caramel or frostbite topping. It is a good way to get close to a medium in size without the step up in price.

Order for First Timers

1x Small Gelati add caramel (Make sure you mention the caramel up front so they can grab a larger cup!). Layering order - Mention you want Green Apple on top with the caramel, then vanilla custard then a Tiger’s Blood or other classic snowcone flavor on the bottom.
